Santa Claus Village is located in Lapland in Finland, only 8 km north of the Rovaniemi City Center. The destination is easily spotted with its towers and grand gateway through which highway E4 (European route E75) runs.

Bus

Rovaniemi can be reached by bus from all over Finland. Bus tickets can be purchased either from Matkahuolto or Onnibuss online stores. You can also reach Rovaniemi by FlixBus operating between Rovaniemi & Kraków (PL); this line also serves cities like Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga & Vilnius.

Rovaniemi local bus number 8 runs around the year between the Rovaniemi city centre and Santa Claus Village. Check the bus route. In November-March private Santa’s Express and Airport Express also run between Santa Claus Village, City Center and airport and in autumn and winter Apukka Shuttle Bus runs between City Center, Santa’s Village and Apukka.

Train

Rovaniemi can be easily reached by train from southern Finland and from the northern direction from Kemijärvi. Buy tickets from VR’s online store.

Santa Claus Express night train, serving between Helsinki and Rovaniemi, is a particularly exciting and eco-friendly way to travel to Santa Claus Village.

Airplane

Rovaniemi Airport, the Official Airport of Santa Claus, is located just 3 km from the Santa Claus Village. Daily flights between Rovaniemi and Helsinki are operated by Finnair throughout the year and several times a week by Norwegian.
